Fund a Feline and Contribute a Canine Clubs

CGHS/SPCA invites you to become a member of either or both of our recently formed Fund a Feline or Contribute a Canine Clubs. By joining this club you will sponsor the adoption of one or more cats or dogs, which will enable our Shelter to waive the usual adoption fee, thus encouraging much needed adoptions.

These clubs were developed in part to encourage people to adopt who would love to own a pet but who, because of financial constraints, would find it difficult to pay the adoption fee.  An increased adoption rate decreases the time our animals stay at the Shelter, enables us to accept more homeless pets each month and helps our Shelter continue to maintain its policy of not euthanizing pets for space constraints, which began in 2001.

To become a member of the Fund a Feline Club or the Contribute a Canine Club, you simply donate the adoption fee for each feline or canine you wish to sponsor, and each sponsorship will be associated with a specific cat, kitten, dog or puppy at the Shelter. Money received for these clubs will be dedicated to paying for sponsored pet adoptions.

To join the Fund a Feline Club, simply print an enrollment form, fill it out and return it to the Shelter with your payment. To join the Contribute a Canine Club, print the form available here instead.  Both forms are also currently available on Shelter premises.  By joining one of these clubs, you will be greatly enhancing the life of one or more homeless companions by speeding their adoption to permanent, loving homes.
